The Monster’s Free Pick(s) of the Day – Saturday, November 10

Because they are free, why not give two picks instead of one.

Free Pick No. 1 — Kansas at Kansas State U47 points

It will be below 40 degrees at kickoff with winds 15 MPH in Manhattan. Kansas football David Beatty had already been fired, but still has to coach the last three games of the season. Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder hasn’t made a commitment past this year, and speculation is he will retire for a second time.

Kansas hasn’t won at Kansas State since 2007, which was the Jayhawks first win in Manhattan since 1989.

Kansas may cover the 10.5 points as the underdog only because both teams are going to struggle to score.

Free Pick No. 2 — Washington State -6.5 at Colorado

Colorado was cruising through the first five weeks of the season before injuries led to four straight losses. Colorado’s offensive attack hasn’t looked that sound in a month.

Meanwhile, no. 8 Washington State is 8-1. Coach Mike Leach’s squad is putting up 38.3 points per game this season. The Cougars have won five straight games since that Friday night loss at USC in September.

I don’t just give you the free picks. I bet them myself.

Good luck, everyone!
